PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent spoofing of a third person by describing the address of a regular user in a column of transmitter in an e-mail and transmitting this e-mail. SOLUTION: This authentication device 10 comprises a confirmation mail transmitting part 11b for transmitting a confirmation mail for urging the return of e-mail to a transmitter of e-mail; a mail authentication part 14a for authenticating whether or not the e-mail is transmitted by the regular user depending on the presence/absence of return of the confirmation mail; a command processing part 15 for executing, when the e-mail is authenticated to be transmitted by the regular user, a processing by a command described in the e-mail; and a processing result transmitting part 11c for transmitting the result of the processing by the command to the transmitter of the e-mail.
