PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation curable liquid state resin composition useful as a covering material for an optical fiber. SOLUTION: This radiation curable liquid state resin composition useful as a covering material for an optical fiber is characterized by containing (A) a urethane (meth)acrylate obtained by performing the reaction of a polyol compound having an oxyalkylene group, a polyisocyanate compound and a hydroxy group-containing (meth)acrylate compound, (B) a phosphate ester having at least 1 (meth)acryloyl group in one molecule and (C) a liquid or solid compound at a normal temperature, having at least one ethylenically unsaturated group in the molecule.
