PARTICLE USED FOR IMAGE DISPLAY MEDIUM, IMAGE DISPLAY PANEL USING SAME, AND IMAGE DISPLAY

The constitution of particles is improved (first, second, fourth, fifth, sixth, eighth, ninth inventions) which particles are used in an image display wherein an image display medium is sealed between substrates which are opposite to each other and at least one of which is transparent, and an electric filed is applied to the image display medium, thereby moving the image display medium to display an image. The material for such particles is improved (third, seventh, tenth inventions). As a result, the particles and a powder fluid using such particles are improved in the whiteness, prevented from agglomeration, and enables to control electrostatic charge. An image display panel using such particles or a powder fluid as the image display medium has such a durability that the contrast of a displayed image is not lowered after repeated use. Consequently, an image display mounted with this image display panel can display a good image.
