The invention relates to an intragastric balloon (1) which may be expanded f or the treatment of obesity, for implantation in the stomach of a patient to reduce the volume of the stomach. Said balloon (1) comprises at least one flexible pouch (2) with an opposing internal face (2A) and external face (2B ), whereby said internal (2A) and external faces (2B) form the surface of at least one flexible pouch (2), characterised in that at least one part of sai d surfaces (2A, 2B) is covered with a coating (6, 6') made from parylene. Said intra-gastric balloon is for the treatment of obesity.
