PIEZOELECTRIC ACTUATOR, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND INJECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric actuator excellent in durability, its manufacturing method and its application to an injector for fuel injection.

SOLUTION: The piezoelectric actuator 1 comprises a housing case 20 with an elastic part 21 which expands and contracts elastically in the direction of an axis and a laminated piezoelectric element 10 put in the housing case. A case load applied to the laminate piezoelectric element 10 in the direction of the axis in which the elastic part 21 contracts is controlled so that it becomes zero or less than a tenth part of driving force generated by the laminated piezoelectric element 10 or less than 100 N on the basis of the elastic force of the elastic part 21 of the housing case 20 in the piezoelectric actuator 1.
