PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the circuit scale of a digital filter. SOLUTION: The digital filter circuit is provided with serially connected control parts 1 to 6 each including an input terminal, an output terminal and a register group for holding operated data, a switching control part 7 for selectively switching bisected control part groups, an arithmetic part including multipliers 17 to 19 and adders 20 to 22 connected to comprise the digital filter with the control part group selected by the switching control part 7, pipeline registers of stages of a proper number to be inserted between the output terminal of the control part group of the pre-stage and the input terminal of the control part group of the post-stage, and a filter constant register part 23 for holding a filter constant that is imparted to the multipliers 17 to 19. The control part groups of the pre-stage and the post-stage are then alternately operated, and the switching control part 7, the arithmetic part and the pipeline registers are operated at all the time.
