PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjusting mechanism for simplifying a structure, easy in adjusting work, and capable of a highly accurate adjustment. SOLUTION: This valve system is formed by rotatably connecting one end part 15a of a link rod 15 for constituting a part of a transmission mechanism 8 to the other end part 13b of a rocker arm 13 via a collar member 22. When positioning and fixing the collar member in one end part of the link rod, any one of a plurality of bolts 23a to 23c respectively different in shaft diameters d1 to d3 is properly selected, and is positioned and fixed by a bolt and a nut in a state of biassing a rocking fulcrum Q in the radial direction via the collar member by spring force of a valve spring 10.
