PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise generated by the impact of a hopper against the other member such as a feed roller in, for example, an ink jet recording device. SOLUTION: This feeder feeds a recorded material onto which liquid is jetted in a liquid jetting area to the liquid jetting area. The feeder comprises the hopper for pushing out the recorded material from a recorded material tray on which the recorded material is placed when the recorded material is fed to the liquid jetting area, a drive cam driving the hopper, and a rotation limiting part adding a rotation control force obstructing the rotation of the drive cam to the drive cam when the hopper is moved in a direction moving to the camshaft of the drive cam.
