A one-piece waterproof elastic sports overshoe covers the entire foot and lower leg up to the knee. The overshoe is made of rubber or plastic foil and is manufactured by extrusion. Alternatively the overshoe is made of an impregnated textile material. The overshoe neck is secured by e.g. a lace, hook or loop elastic band. The overshoe is large enough to cover accommodate boots, socks and shin-guards.
