Said invention is used for object remote control for medicine, simulators, computer games, etc. The inventive method for forming a stereo space consists in forming an environmental stereo space in front of each eye of an observer and in introducing stereo information received from other sources (a controlled object cabin, game scenario, etc) therein according to a determined algorithm. The inventive device for forming a stereo space consists of a virtual helmet provided with two similar channels, each of them comprising a lens and a screen, sensors for the space position of the observer's head which are disposed on the helmet, a computer, an observing system consisting of two video cameras which are mounted on the controlled object. The video cameras are arranged in each channel near the observer's eyes. An optical divider is arranged between the lens and screen and a video camera for following the position of the eye pupil is disposed therebehind.
