Disclosed is a device for generating pulsating movements, comprising A) two parallel shafts (3; 4) with one respective longitudinal axis (5; 6), one respective rear end (7; 8), and one respective forward end (9; 10); B) a gea r unit (2) that is provided with at least two toothed wheels (20; 21), at leas t two toothed wheels (20) being oval and one respective toothed wheel (20; 21) being connected to one respective rear end (7; 8) of the two shafts (3; 4); C) two arch-type drive levers (30; 31), each of which is provided with a first end (32; 33) and at least one second end (34; 35), each first end (32; 33) o f the drive levers (30; 31) being connected to one respective forward end (9; 10) of the two shafts (3; 4) so as to be rotatable about a first axis of rotation (11; 12); and E) a driving member (40) that is connected to the second ends (34; 35) of the drive levers (30; 31) in order to be rotatable about two second axes of rotation (13; 14). F) The driving member (40) has a polysome-type shape.
