<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a formed body for desulfurization the prescribed shape of which can be kept for a long period of time by a small amount of an adhesive and which can keep its desulfurizing performance. <P>SOLUTION: A one-side honeycombed sheet 1 is obtained by spot-gluing a corrugated nonwoven sheet 2 containing an activated carbon fiber to a planar nonwoven sheet 3 containing the activated carbon fiber at the crests of the sheet 2 by the adhesive 4 (a twin pack curing adhesive of a (meth)acrylic resin and polyisocyanate) and covering each of the open end faces with a resin layer 5 of an epoxy resin. The spot-gluing can be performed so that each of the sheets 2 and 3 is composed of the activated carbon fiber and a thermally fusing binder fiber, and the binder resin is thermally fused. A honeycombed activated carbon fiber molding is formed by laminating the one-side honeycombed sheets without gluing the layered moldings to one another and housed in a container, which is then used for flue gas desulfurization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
