PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance heat-radiation performance by preventing the flow of a refrigerant passing through a refrigerant passage from becoming a laminar flow. SOLUTION: This stator has a first refrigerant passage 118 wherein the refrigerant flows through the space between a first flat type wire coil 117a and a second flat type wire coil 117b, and the outline of a coil winding part 116 is formed so that the direction of stripes 172a of the first flat type wire 171a facing the first refrigerant passage 118 crosses the direction of stripes 172b of the second flat type wire 171b. Since the refrigerant flow is disturbed by the crossing stripes, the heat-radiation performance by the refrigerant is enhanced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
