PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an external device to control the mobile equipment by reporting the capability of the mobile equipment to the external device. SOLUTION: A mobile equipment main body 1 stores mobile equipment information on the communication capability of the mobile equipment main body 1 into a storage device 11, is connected to an external TAF 3 including a function of interfacing with radio communications and when the external TAF 3 is connected, reads the mobile equipment information stored in the storage device 11, transmits the read radio equipment information to the external TAF 3, and the external TAF 3 stores the mobile equipment information that is transmitted from the mobile equipment main body 1, into a storage device 31 and uses the stored mobile equipment information to originate a call.
