<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarization method and a polarization device for piezoelectric ceramics by which a polarization is enabled sufficiently, the deterioration with time of piezoelectric characteristics is reduced, the ceramics are not damaged by a polarization treatment, and the polarization treatment is conducted in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: In the polarization method for the piezoelectric ceramics, the polarization is conducted by applying a pulse voltage having a pulse-shaped voltage waveform to the piezoelectric ceramics.
