PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light emitting device excellent in design where intensity is made approximately uniform on the surface of a light guide plate with a simple constitution, and a light source and an electric wiring member to supply electrical power to the light source do not protrude from the light guide plate and become flush with the light guide plate.
