PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method for suppressing the rate of porosity occurrence and obtaining a weld zone of excellent quality by increasing the current in the vicinity of an arbitrary position during the welding. SOLUTION: The welding method is realized by arbitrarily combining the following configurations of (1) using a tubular member formed of stainless steel containing, by weight,≥0.007% and≤0.010% S, and a tube plate formed of stainless steel containing, by weight,≥0.004% and≤0.007% S, (2) welding the tubular member to the tube plate while a welding electrode is inclined in the welding advancing direction by the angle of≥10°and≤30°, and (3) performing TIG-welding of the tubular member to the tube plate by increasing the welding current step by step.
