PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retro styled display mechanism capable of reliable operation and having a small occupying space. SOLUTION: The retro styled display mechanism is provided with a star-wheel (1) mounted to a gearwheel (R2). The star-wheel (1) is provided with tip parts each having slopes (B and C).
