PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a unit for a biochemical analysis to detect signals from a receptor or ligand accurately. SOLUTION: A signal absorption layer 5 for absorbing signals from a hole 3a to a hole 3b through an adsorbent material connected to one surface of a substrate 2 having a plurality of holes 3 is provided at a unit for a biochemical analysis that comprises the substrate 2 and the porous adsorbent material that is filled into the plurality of holes 3 and forms an adsorbent region 4, where the adsorbent material for forming the adsorbent region 4 on one side of the substrate is connected.
