PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost by simplifying structure of an elevating device. SOLUTION: A door 1a for an automobile is constituted of a door main body 5 hinged on a vehicle body, a window frame 7 erected on an upper part of the door main body 5, window glass 2 elevated/lowered along an opening surface of an opening part formed by an upper edge part of the door main body 5 and the window frame 7, and the elevating device 9 for elevating the window glass 2 incorporated into the door main body 5. The window frame 7 is constituted of an oblique side part 7a along a side part of windshield 11 of the vehicle body and a lateral side part 7b along a side part of a top plate 12 of the vehicle body. Groove parts 8a and 8b fitted with a peripheral edge part of the window glass 2 along each of inner peripheries are provided in the oblique side part 7a and the lateral side part 7b of the window frame 7 in a full close state of the window frame 7 by the window glass 2. A cut-out part 15a stored in the groove part 8a of the oblique side part 7a in the full close state is provided at a peripheral edge part on the oblique side part 7a side of the window glass 2. An opening part by only the cut-out part 15a is formed between the window frame 7 and the window glass 2 at a prescribed lowering position of the window glass 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
