PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish the hygienic and compact packing and housing of absorbent articles. SOLUTION: In the packing component unit 100, a plurality of sanitary napkins 1 is packed with a packing member 2 to be wound in a roll. Each of the sanitary napkins 1 has a top sheet 11, a back sheet 12 and an absorbent 13 disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet. The packing member has a surface cover sheet 21 for covering the sanitary napkin from the side of the top sheet 11 and a rear cover sheet 22 for covering the sanitary napkin from the side of the pack sheet 12. Out of the surface and rear cover sheets, at least one cover sheet is formed being linked continuously in a belt. Consequently, each sanitary napkin is sandwiched between the surface and rear cover sheets while both rim parts in the longitudinal direction X of at least the surface and rear cover sheets are laid one upon the other to seal up.
