PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric boiler that is equipped with a feed water tank apart from a boiling tank and controls propagation of bacillus inside the feed water tank. SOLUTION: The electric boiler is provided with the feed water tank 33 that stores water, a metal ion supply means 25 that supplies either zinc ion or silver ion at the least inside the feed water tank 33, a boiling tank 2 equipped with a heating means 15, a water feeding route 29 having one end communicating with the feed water tank 33 and the other end connecting and communicating the boiling tank 2, and a pump 34 that feeds water to the boiling tank from the feed water tank. It effectively controls the propagation of bacillus while the water is stored by supplying zinc ions or silver ions that effectively sterilize inside the feed water tank. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
