PURPOSE: A switch operating apparatus is provided to achieve improved characteristics of switch by a spring charging system, and permit the apparatus to be applied to a high voltage device. CONSTITUTION: A switching operating apparatus comprises a driving source(10); a decelerating unit(20) for reducing the transmitting rotating forces of the driving source; an actuator(30) rotating by the decelerating unit; an input lever(40) rotating by the actuator; an actuator latch(50) rotating operation of which is limited by the actuator; a switch driving shaft(60) to which the input lever is coupled such that the input lever is rotatable, wherein the switch driving shaft rotates by the actuator latch; a hook cam(70) coupled to the center of the switch driving shaft such that the hook cam is rotatable; a spring rod having an end fixed at the input lever, and which reciprocates by being interlocked with the input lever; an on-off spring(90) having an end connected to the spring rod; a trap latch pin(100) arranged in front of the hook cam and interlocked with the hook cam; and a tripping unit(110) arranged in front of the trap latch pin, and which drives the trip latch pin.
