PURPOSE: A switch and a switching circuit are provided to reduce a size of the switch while accelerating an operation speed of the switch by isolating a fluid-based switch from external environment. CONSTITUTION: A switch includes a substrate(104), a channel plate(102), and a switching fluid. The channel plate defines at least a portion of a plurality of cavities(106,108,110,112,114,116,118) and constitutes a pair with the substrate. The channel plate includes a switching fluid channel and a pair of ground channels adjacent to the switch fluid channel. The switching fluid is contained in the cavities defined by the switch fluid channel and is movable at least between first and second switch states with response to a force applied on the switching fluid.
