<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem such that, although a sea alga of Khiva mata family used as a nutrition supplemental food is excellent in the content of minerals which are apt to become insufficient in Japanese people, when compared with sea tangle, it has a strong smell, and also a person is apt to belch accompanying farely bad smell after drinking the nutrition supplemental food containing the same, thus the sea algae of the Kiva mata family are almost not used as a general food because of the bad smell. <P>SOLUTION: The method is to aim at the expansion of use of the sea algae of the Khiva mata family to the general food such as a soup stock, sea algae tea by a technology of removing the bad smell by adding Lontinus edodes or tea. Regarding to the soup stock product, although there is a problem of insufficiency of palatability, the necessary factors, as the soup stock product are satisfied by adding Himanthalia elongata which is a sea alga containing glutamic acid more than that in the sea tangle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
