<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system for shifting into a low power consumption state after acquiring necessary information without adding a change in conventional specifications. <P>SOLUTION: In a loop length calculating unit 410, a sleep length is calculated based on the contents of a PLCP header and set to a timer 430. In an address detecting unit 420, a destination address is detected from the contents of a MAC header. When it is a frame addressed to another terminal, sleep start is instructed to a power supply feeding unit 180, and a timer 430 is made started to check time.When passing through the sleep length, the timer 430 instructs the stop of sleep to the power supply feeding unit 180. When the contents of the PLCP header or MAC header is not reliable, or the sleep should not take place in relation to rising time of each portion, a sleep restriction determining unit 440 places a restriction on the transition to the sleep state in the power supply feeding unit 180. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
