PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus for smoothly executing a user interface. SOLUTION: An operating system 200 comprises a message cue 210 for retaining inputted messages; and a GUI processing section 212 for achieving a specific user interface when a message outputted corresponding to the operation of an operation section 320 is read from the message cue 210, thus reading messages retained in the message cue 210 in the order of input for processing. A message scheduling processing section 120 adjusts timing for outputting messages toward the operating system 200 for each processing section when messages are outputted from a plurality of processing sections 110-116.
