PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold and sandwich a document having no punched binding hole in such a state that the document is set to a holding plate of a binding body in a freely detachable manner all the time. SOLUTION: In a file B provided with a binding body 4 for binding a document C-1 with punched binding holes on the inner side of one front cover b-2 of binding covers (b), a document C without punched binding holes is inserted into and held by the holding plate 4-2 of the binding body 4 in a freely detachable but frontward and backward unmovable condition. A clip body A is bent at the bending shoulder section 1 as a boundary, and the upper and the lower holding plates 2, 3 are extended from the opposite ends continuously and substantially in parallel and are faced with each other to be formed in substantially a U-shape in the side view, with the lateral width L1 formed to be stored between at least one pair of the binding tools 5 of the holding plate 4-1. Furthermore, a sandwiching section 7 for press sandwiching the document C with the lower holding plate 3 and the upper holding plate 2 is formed at the releasing end position of the lower holding plate 3.
