PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orientation stacking device and an orientation stacking method capable of laterally uniformizing the amount of stacked wood chip when the oriented wood chip is stacked. SOLUTION: This orientation stacking device for wood chip comprises an orientation device having a gutter-like part in which a plurality of orientation grooves positioned laterally parallel with each other are formed aslant and a vibration means for vibrating the gutter-like part and a carrying device arranged continuously with the orientation device. A plurality of orientation plates are disposed on the downstream side of the gutter-like part at the upper end part of the carrying device. After slender wood chip mixed with a binder charged into the upstream side of the gutter-like part is oriented in the longitudinal direction of the orientation grooves by the vibration of the gutter-like part by the vibration means, the wood chip is fallen on the carrying device through the orientation plates and stacked on the carrying device. The device also comprises a wood chip eliminating means eliminating both lateral end parts of the wood chip stacked on the carrying device from the carrying device for each specified width.
