PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous plasticizing type injection molding machine capable of supplying a resin in proper quantities to perform stable molding by measuring the position of the piston of an accumulator device at every cycle and controlling a parameter for supplying a material to a continuous plasticizing device corresponding to the measured result. SOLUTION: The continuous plasticizing type injection molding machine is equipped with the continuous plasticizing device 11 for plasticizing a synthetic resin material, the accumulator device 12 comprising the cylinder 30 communicating with the outflow passage 19 of the continuous plasticizing device and the piston 31 provided in the cylinder, an injection device 13 for metering/injecting the plasticized resin supplied from the accumulator device, a feeder 20 for supplying the synthetic resin material to the continuous plasticizing device 11, a linear scale 45 as a measuring means for measuring the position of the piston 31 of the accumulator device and reporting the amount of the plasticized resin in the cylinder and a control part 14 for controlling the parameter of the feeder corresponding to the measured result obtained by measuring the position of the piston at every cycle by the linear scale.
