PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of a phenomenon such as overrun by changing priority order between memory reply data and operation instructions and forcibly sending out the operation instructions when the operation instructions issued by a microprogram control part compete with the memory reply data. SOLUTION: In this data transfer device 1, when the memory reply data are continuously transferred to a channel device 51, the operation instructions issued by a channel control device 20 are forcibly made to break into the transfer of the memory reply data within a prescribed time, and are sent out to the channel device 51.
