PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection television which can be arranged by attaching a cabinet on the wall. SOLUTION: An exhaust port is provided to the side of the cabinet in the projection television. The exhaust port constitutes a part of a cooling flow passage for cooling the light source of an optical unit. Concretely, an air inlet 36 and the exhaust port 37 are respectively provided to the side panels 33, 34 of the lower cabinet 31. The side panels 33, 34 are arranged in an inclined state.
