MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND MOBILE TERMINAL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system in which throughput decrease due to the collision of reservation control packets does not exist.

SOLUTION: A base station periodically transmits busy-tone information that corresponds to the situation of the traffic in a service area through a response control channel or a busy-tone specific channel. Each mobile terminal having a request for data transmission controls the transmission of the reservation control packet based on the busy-tone information. Thereby, sending of the reservation control packets simultaneously generated can be controlled.
