PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer illuminator having brightness and little lighting unevenness, which enables improvement of efficiency for introduction of light to an indicating section. SOLUTION: The pointer illuminator is provided with a pointer 7 having a translucent indication member (an indication section) 72 and a light-guide member (a light-introducing section) 73, which acts to turn about an axle by the driving axle 1 of a driving device 2, and a light source L arranged on the surrounding of the driving axle 1, which emits the indicating member 72 through the light-guide member 73. The light-guide member 73 comprises a light-receiving surface 73a receiving the light from a light source L, a first reflecting surface 73b causing light to the light guided from this light-receiving surface 73a to converge toward the position of an axis line Va of the revolution of the driving axle 1, a second reflecting surface 73c, formed between this first reflecting surface 73b which reflects the light from the first reflecting surface 73b in the direction along the axis Va and a third reflecting surface 73d formed on the axis Va so as to face this the second reflecting surface 73c, which reflects the light from the second reflecting surface 73c in the longitudinal direction of the indication member 72.
