PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an olefinic thermoplastic elastomer composition excellent in tensile characteristics at ordinary temperature and a molded article consisting of the composition. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic elastomer composition contains components (I)-(IV), and based on 100 pts.wt. of the component (I) the contents of the components (II), (III), and (IV) are 25-200, 30-200, and 1-40 pts.wt., respectively. The component (I) is an olefinic resin, the component (II) is an amorphousα-olefin type polymer whose content of a monomer unit derived fromα-olefin is≥30 mol%, the component (III) is a soft olefinic copolymer which contains a monomer unit derived from ethylene and a monomer unit derived fromα-olefin and whose content of the monomer unit derived from theα-olefin is <30 mol%, and the component (IV) is a hydrogenated product of a conjugated diene polymer.
