PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a space between an air-conditioner case and a vehicular sheet metal and avoid troubles of outside noise which occupants hear through the air-conditioner case and of the backflow of rainwater through a drain water discharge hole into the air-conditioner case. SOLUTION: This drain water discharge structure adopts the construction of holding a packing 7 and a flange between a drain water collecting part 5 and a sheet metal swollen part 9 to seal a sheet metal through-hole 8 at its periphery in the state of the air-conditioner case 1 being fixed into a vehicle room. The air-conditioner case 1 is therefore arranged closer to the vehicle sheet metal 4. The trouble of the outside noise entering into the air-conditioner case 1 is avoided by a drain valve 6 mounted in a drain water discharge cylinder of the air-conditioner case 1, resulting in a lower noise level in the vehicle room. The drain valve 6 is kept in a closed condition even when ram pressure occurs in the sheet metal through-hole 8, resulting in no backflow of rainwater through the drain water discharge hole.
