PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeder voltage detection apparatus capable of excellently detecting application of an AC feeder voltage or a DC feeder voltage to a non-voltage feeder line at an abutting site between the AC feeder and a DC feeder. SOLUTION: The feeder voltage detection apparatus comprises a transformer 17 having one end of its primary winding connected to a non-voltage feeder line 15, a resistor 19 arranged between the other end of the primary winding of the transformer 17 and the ground, and a voltage detector for detecting a voltage at a secondary side of the transformer 17 and voltages at both ends of the resistor 19. When an AC feeder line 12 and the non-voltage feeder line 15 are electrically connected, an AC voltage is applied to the line 15 to cause an AC voltage at the secondary side of the transformer 17, and by detecting the AC voltage an electrical connection between the line 12 and the line 15 is detected. In turn, when a DC feeder line 13 and the line 15 are electrically connected, a DC voltage is applied to the line 15 and a DC voltage generated at both ends of the resistor 19 is detected and the electrical connection between the line 13 and the line 15 is detected.
