摘要 Cereal grains are put into a test tube containing a specific reagent solution and stirred. The thus obtained reaction solution is introduced into a cell. Then the cell is irradiated with light and the absorbance at a wavelength showing the peak absorbance and the absorbance within a wavelength in which the absorbance scarcely changes are detected. Based on the difference between these absorbance values, the freshness of cereal grains or beans is judged.
