A connection unit electrically connects a performance board on which an electric device is placed, to a tester control section for generating a control signal for controlling test of the electronic device. The connection units includes: a substrate containing section for containing a test substrate electrically connected to the tester control section; a holding member detachably fixed to one of a plurality of different fixed positions in the substrate containing section and holding the test substrate at a predetermined holding position corresponding to the fixed position; and a connection cable having one end connected to the test substrate held at the holding position and the other end connected to the performance board.
