<p>A wide-band circuit that can realize a desired stable circuit characteristic over a wide frequency band by use of a small number of circuit elements and that can be easily designed. A wide-band circuit wherein circuit elements are connected via transmission lines including signal transmission conductors, grounded conductors and dielectrics intervening between those conductors, and wherein an LILC (13) is inserted in a transmission line, the LILC (13) comprising a pair of mutually opposed conductors having a four-terminal line structure; the LILC (13) exhibiting an impedance lower than any one of the conductors connected to its terminals; the LILC (13) having, as a target frequency band, a frequency band of electromagnetic waves whose wavelengths are shorter than an approximately-four multiple of the line length; the LILC (13) being used as a low impedance element for the electromagnetic waves of the target frequency band.</p> |
