<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply estimating a parameter showing the status of an object to be monitored, a method for monitoring the status of an object to be monitored by using the parameter, a parameter estimating device, a status monitoring device, a status monitoring system, a computer program and a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The status monitoring device is stored with time series constituted of N pieces of data showing the status of an object to be monitored, an estimated value äe<SB>n</SB>} of a white noise and the parameter I<SB>N</SB>of an ARAM model estimated from the time series. When the N+1th data are accepted (S3), the estimated value I<SB>N+1</SB>of the parameter is simply calculated by using an approximate formula established when N is large (S6), and a difference between the I<SB>N+1</SB>and the I<SB>N</SB>is calculated (S7), and the status of the object to be monitored is decided (S8). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
