PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser scanning optical device in which a positional deviation of a scanning lens is suppressed to the utmost and which has excellent optical characteristics. SOLUTION: The laser scanning optical device is so composed that a laser beam emitted from a light source is deflected in a main scanning direction at a constant angular velocity with a polygon mirror and the deflected laser beam is focused on a photoreceptor drum 20 with a scanning lens 9a. The scanning lens 9a is fitted on a supporting member via a holder 30 and supported by projections 33 and 33 provided on the both end parts of a flat part 32 of the holder 30 and a screwed member 34 provide at the central part, and fixed at a position in a subscanning direction z by being elastically pressurized in the direction denoted by an arrow (b) in the figure. Thus the bow of a scanning line on the photoreceptor is corrected by adjusting a curvature of the scanning lens 9a on a plane in the subscanning direction z, which curvature is caused by advancing or retracting the screwed member 34 with respect to the flat part 32.
