PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability and good appearance in a continuous footing and a mat foundation with a PC footing beam member. SOLUTION: An axial bolt 14 is embedded in a PC footing beam member in a longitudinal direction from one end to the other. On the upper and lower ends of the axial bolts 14 which protrude from the upper and lower surfaces of the PC footing beam materials adjacent to each other, an upper connecting fitting 4 and a lower connecting fitting 5 are respectively placed astride the upper and lower surfaces of the abutting PC footing beam materials and then each fitting is fastened with a nut to be coupled. Placed on a support base, a foot part of the PC footing beam member together with the support base are integrally covered with cast-in-place concrete so as to make a continuous footing or a mat foundation.
