PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head driving device of an ink-jet type printer which can prevent a current amplification transistor from heating, and can reduce a color tone change and crosstalk between lines of nozzles by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A transistor circuit 115 for current amplification has a two-stage structure of a front stage preamplifier part 115A which consists of a first and a second transistors Q3 and Q6, and a rear stage amplifier part 115B which consists of a first set, a second set and a third set of transistors Q1 and Q2, Q4 and Q5, and Q7 and Q8, respectively. In the rear stage amplifier part 115B, piezoelectric elements 111 of a yellow (Y) nozzle array, a magenta (M) nozzle array, and a cyan (C) nozzle array are driven by the first set of transistors Q1 and Q2, the second set of transistors Q4 and Q5, and the third set of transistors Q7 and Q8, respectively.
