PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting blade including a thin blade improved in both sharpenability and wear resistance of a leading cutting edge. SOLUTION: The cutting blade includes a thin blade with a cutting edge angle at the tip of the blade of 60°or less having the tip of the blade forming a sharp edge with a radius of curvature of 5μm or less. The cutting edge is made of a cemented carbide which contains at least one selected from a group of Cr, V and Ta of a total of 0.3-3.0 mass% on a carbide basis and Co of 8-15 mass% with the balance of WC particles of an average particle diameter of 0.1-0.5μm, and has coersive force of 23,900-38,200 A/m.
