PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage casing for a lip stick or the like eliminating any necessity of changing a spiral member according to a design, even if the external design of the storage casing is changed. SOLUTION: This storage casing for the lip stick or the like comprises: an inner cylinder member formed into a cylindrical shape, having an annular projection part in its center, and formed with an axial cut groove in its lower part; a plurality of projecting pieces covering the lower part of the inner cylinder member, projecting upward from the upper end part and formed with annular recess parts in parts corresponding to the annular projection parts of the inner cylinder member; and the cylindrical spiral member formed with spiral grooves in parts corresponding to the cut grooves of the inner cylinder member and made of synthetic resin material. This casing further comprises: a ring member covering the upper part outer circumference of the spiral member and preventing the projecting pieces of the spiral member from expanding outward; a plate member storing a rod shaped cosmetics and vertically movably mounted on the inner cylinder member; an engagement pin formed in the lower part of the plate member, engaged with the cut groove of the inner cylinder member and the spiral groove of the spiral member and vertically moving the plate member; and a skirt member formed with a lid engagement part in the upper part and covering the spiral member so as to prevent it from turning and pulled out.
