PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a storing place and maintenance of the unused peripheral accessory of a bed such as covering bedding, a covering futon, and to dispense with time for installing and preparing the bed peripheral accessory such as the covering futon when using it. SOLUTION: The bed is provided with a covering-sheet covering unit which includes a cloth body 6, right and left extensible poles 3 and 3 to which the front part and the rear edge part of the cloth body 6 are fitted, holding metal plates 4 and 4 supporting the rear edges of the poles 3 and 3, and fixing bars 5 and 5. The unit 2 is switched into the state of contracting the poles 3 and 3 to make the cloth body pendant in a vertical direction in a folded and housed state and into the state of developing and engaging the poles 3 horizontally and stretching the cloth body 6 forward following the poles 3 to install the unit 2 at a prescribed position.
