PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize the outline of a body of a rice cooker with a cord reel for storing a power supply cord by enhancing the flexibility of the layout of internal components and efficiently disposing the internal components. SOLUTION: In the rice cooker, a pot 22 is stored inside the rice cooker body 21, and a pot storage part is composed of a protection frame 24 located under the pot 22. The pot 22 is heated by a heating means 25 and the temperature of the pot 22 is detected by a pot temperature detecting means 23. The power supply cord 31 is stored on the cord reel 32a, and the outer shell of the rice cooker body 21 is composed of a body 30.
