PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning rod capable of preventing that the outer surface of the butt section of the spinning rod is damaged with the point of a fish hook hung on a fishing hook-hanging member attached to the outer side of the butt section of the spinning rod. SOLUTION: The fishing hook-hanging member 2 is fixed to the outer periphery of the butt section 1 on the front side of a butt grip 15 with a cord 17, and the fishing hook-hanging member 2 is made from a metal wire or the like and is disposed by standing a hook-hanging portion 2b on a horizontal attaching portion 2a. The hook-hanging portion 2b is formed in an inverse triangle shape on whose inside a hole is formed. A spinning rod pip-protecting member 3 is formed on the outer periphery of the butt section 1 on the front side of the fishing hook-hanging member 2. The rod pip-protecting member 3 is formed by fitting and fixing a synthetic resin thermally shrinkable tube to the outer periphery of the butt section or winding and fixing a flexible sheet such as a synthetic resin or a rubber. When the synthetic resin thermally shrinkable tube is used as the rod pipe-protecting member 3, the thickness of the tube is preferably≥0.5 mm, after shrunk. The length of the rod pipe-protecting member 3 in the axial direction of the butt section is preferably 5 to 30 mm, more preferably 15 to 25 mm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
