摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for photoelectric transfer element which shows an optical absorption property even up to a long wavelength range and sensitizes efficiently semiconductor particulates, and is superior in durability. <P>SOLUTION: The material for the photoelectric transfer element comprises a metal complex compound containing a ligand as expressed by a general formula (1). In the general formula (1), R<SB>1</SB>-R<SB>6</SB>express each independently hydrogen atom, alkyl group which may have a substituent, alkenyl group which may have a substituent, aryl group which may have a substituent, or heteroaryl group which may have a substituent, R<SB>7</SB>and R<SB>8</SB>express a substituted group, a1 and a2 show each independently an integer of 0-3. When a1 is 2 or more, R<SB>7</SB>may be the same or different and may form a ring by mutually connecting, when a2 is 2 or more, R<SB>8</SB>may be the same or different and may form a ring by mutually connecting, and when a1 and a2 are both 1 or more, R<SB>7</SB>and R<SB>8</SB>may form a ring by mutual coupling. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
